Leopard Basketball Players Receive All-Conference Honors

The Temple College men's basketball team had five players receive North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference All-Conference honors. Sophomore Terreon Randolph and redshirt freshman Kedrian Johnson were both awarded First Team All-Conference, freshman Bryson Etienne was awarded Second Team All-Conference, and sophomores Sebastian Karwoski and Sammy Brooks were both awarded Honorable Mention All-Conference. Johnson was also named Newcomer of the Year for the NTJCAC and received Frist Team All-Region honors.

Johnson, a guard from Dallas, saw action in all 30 of the Leopards games during the regular season. He was named Player of the Week for Region V North two times this season and finished the regular season ranked in the top 10 in the region in three categories. Johnson is ranked 2nd in points per game with 25.1, 2nd in steals with 3.7 per game, and 10th in assists with 4.3 per game.

Randolph, a forward from Dallas, played in 28 of the Leopards 30 regular season games. He finished the regular season ranked in the top 10 in three categories. Randolph finished as the conference leader with 9.9 rebounds per game, ranked 10th in field goal percentage at 52.5%, and ranked 9th in blocks with 1.5 per game.

Etienne, a guard from Houston, played in 27 of the Leopards 30 regular season games. He finished the regular season 9th with 15.9 points per game.

Karwoski, a forward from Mansfield, played in 29 of the Leopards 30 regular season games and averaged 9.9 points per game, 7.2 rebounds per game, and shot 43.3% from the field.

Brooks, a point guard from Dallas, played in 29 of the Leopards 30 regular season games this season. Brooks finished the regular season ranked 9th in the region in steals per game with 2.1. He averaged 14.7 points per game, shot 41.9% from the field, and 37.6% from behind the three-point line.

The Leopards finished the regular season 24-6 and 10-4 in conference which put them in third place in Region V North. They will continue their season at the Region V Basketball Championship March 7-9 in Abilene and will face the #2 seed from Region V West.
