Men's Basketball wins close one at Ranger College

After losing a shot at the buzzer in their previous conference game versus Grayson, the Leopards held on to watch a game winning attempt by Ranger hit the back of the rim to secure a 81-80 conference road win.

Pacing the Leopards was sophomore Theo Grant with 22 points and frehman Eino Montin hit 4 three-pointers for the starting unit. Off the bench, the Leopards got key contributions from freshman Henry Sanchez-Perez, while Sophomore Des Green chipped in with three key blocks including a huge block with just under 10 seconds left in the game. The Leopards out rebounded the Rangers 45-37 with sophomores Andrew Iyamah and Ja'Rayles each grabbing 7 rebounds each.

The Leopards are now 3-6 in conference play, sitting in a 4-way 3 win tie for 5th place.

The Leopards will take on Southwestern Christian on Wednesday February 21 at Temple College 7:00pm
