The Temple College Leopard softball team took two games from Howard College in Big Spring.

In game one, the Leopards pounded out 14 hits for 12 runs to run rule Howard 12-0 in five innings. Alyssa Escamilla went 3 for 3 with a double and 3 runs scored, Maddie Weatherly went 3 for 4 with a grand slam, five RBI and a run scored, Savanna Parker went 2 for 3 with two homeruns, 3 RBI, and 3 runs scored, and Tiler Noyola went 2 for 3 with two doubles and run scored. Breanna Hernandez was strong on the mound for the Leopards. Hernandez threw all five innings, gave up one hit, one walk, and struck out 10.

In game two the Leopards defeated the Hawks 7-1. Morgan Doucet went 3 for 4 with 2 runs scored and an RBI and MacKenzie Purcell went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and an RBI. Weatherly and Daisy Gonzalez each had a homerun. Taylor Gruell threw all seven innings only giving up three hits, three walks, and struck out seven.

The Leopards are now 5-2 and will face Odessa College tomorrow at noon and 2:00 p.m.
