The Leopards had a 3-0 lead going into the bottom of the seventh but gave up four runs for Weatherford to walk it off in game one. Breanna Hernandez had a perfect game going through 5 2/3 innings before giving up a single but then took the loss giving up all four runs in the seventh. Tiler Noyola and Daisy Gonzalez each had three hits which accounted for six of the Leopards seven hits.
The Leopards bounced back in game two for a 3-1 win with homeruns from Maddie Weatherly and Lenzi Stewart. Savanna Parker went 3 for 4 from the plate. Marley Hilton went all seven innings only giving up one run on five hits.
The Leopards are now 8-2 in conference and 24-6 overall. They will be back in action at home Wednesday March 20 when they host Vernon College.
