The Leopards used a three-run fifth to extend the lead to win game one 6-1 against Vernon College. Alyssa Escamilla and Ava McCoy each had three hits and McCoy added three RBI to lead the Leopard offense. Breanna Hernandez threw all seven innings allowing six hits and one earned run for the win.

The Leopards won game two in five innings with a 10-2 run rule. Kennedy Jimenez went 3 for 4 with a double, triple, three RBI, and a run scored. Marley Hilton got the win throwing all five innings holding Vernon to only three hits.

The Leopards are now 10-2 in conference and 26-6 overall. They will be back in action on Saturday March 23 in Waco at McLennan Community College.
