Softball Racks Up All-Conference Awards

The Temple College softball team had six players receive North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference First Team All-Conference awards. Temple's sophomore transfer pitcher from Round Rock, Breanna Hernandez, received Co-Pitcher of the Year for the NTJCAC Region V North along with MCC's Emily Klanika. Hernandez was also awarded First Team All-Conference as a pitcher. Savanna Parker, a freshman from Splendora, received First Team All-Conference honors as a catcher. Temple had two infielders receive First Team All-Conference honors, Alyssa Escamilla, a freshman third baseman/shortstop from Weslaco, and Maddie Weatherly a sophomore from Brenham. Temple also had two outfielders receive First Team All-Conference honors, Tiler Noyola, a sophomore transfer from Montgomery, and Daisy Gonzalez, a sophomore from McAllen.
