Game 1:

Temple College defeated Alvin CC Dolphins 13-4 on Wednesday thanks in part to 10 runs in the first inning.  Emily Delgado singled, scoring two runs, Lily Garcia doubled, scoring one run, an error scored two runs, Channing Lipe doubled, scoring one run, Maveryck Lightfoot doubled, scoring one run, and Adelyn Berecca homered to right field, scoring three runs.  Garcia hit a solo home run to left field in the bottom of the second for the Leopards.

Kennan Nunamaker homered to right field, scoring two runs in the bottom of the third for the Leopards.

Haley Crawford began the game for Temple. They surrendered three hits and three runs (two earned) over three and one-third innings, striking out two and walking two. Haley Vinton started in the circle for Alvin CC Dolphins. The starting pitcher surrendered eight hits and 11 runs (seven earned) over two innings, striking out one and walking two. Audrie Sayas appeared in relief for Temple College.

Temple College tallied 11 hits in the game. Lipe, Garcia, and Bre Jackson each collected two hits for the Leopards. Becerra led Temple with three runs batted in. The catcher went 1-for-3 on the game. 

Game 2:

Lily Garcia collected three hits in four at bats, as Temple College defeated Alvin CC Dolphins 11-5. Garcia hit a home run to left field in the sixth inning, doubled in the fifth inning, and doubled in the first inning.

Alvin CC Dolphins were the first to get on the board in the first when an error scored one run.

Temple College jumped into the lead in the bottom of the first when Adelyn Becerra hit a solo home run to center field, Emily Delgado hit a solo home run to left field, and Alyssa Budisalovich singled, scoring two runs.  A double by Delgado extended the Leopards' lead to 5-1 in the bottom of the second inning.

Temple College added one run in the third after Maveryck Lightfoot doubled.  Garcia homered to left field, scoring two runs in the bottom of the sixth for the Leopards.

Delgado earned the win for Temple College. The reliever allowed six hits and three runs over four and one-third innings, striking out five and walking one. Delaney Gray took the loss for Alvin CC Dolphins. They went six innings, surrendering 11 runs (10 earned) on 14 hits, striking out none and walking two. Hannah Calhoun began the game for Temple College. The starting pitcher allowed two hits and two runs (one earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking three.

Temple College amassed 14 hits in the game. Channing Lipe and Garcia each collected three hits for the Leopards. Delgado and Kennan Nunamaker each collected multiple hits.
