Mikayla Green and Alena Johnston combined for 11 three-pointers in the Lady Leopards 65-64 overtime loss at Ranger College tonight. Green led Temple College with 22 points, 18 of which came from behind the three-point line. Doriana Brown scored 18, and Johnston scored 17, 15 of which were also from behind the three-point line. Makayla Gatewood added 12 rebounds. The game ended regulation tied at 59 points before the Lady Leopards were outscored 6-5 in overtime.
The Lady Leopards are now 12-8 overall and 1-5 in conference play. They will be back in action Saturday January 26 when they host Southwestern Christian College at 2:00 p.m. You can watch the game live via livestream by clicking the video link on the Lady Leopard basketball schedule.
