The Temple College Lady Leopards won in dominating fashion on the road defeating Southwestern Christian College 90-46. Temple College took a 47-20 lead into the half and continued to pull away from SCC in the third quarter outscoring SCC 21-4. Makayla Gatewood and Doriana Brown both scored 15 points to lead the Lady Leopards. Mikayla Green was right behind Gatewood and Brown with 14 points. Treazure Mouton added 12 points and Brooke Lopez added 11 points.
The Lady Leopards are now 17-12 overall and 6-9 in conference. The Lady Leopards will be back in action when they host conference leader Hill College on Wednesday February 27 at 5:30 p.m. in their final home and conference game of the 2019 season.
