Temple's Doriana Brown and Makayla Gatewood both signed letters of intent Thursday at TC Gym to play basketball at Southern Arkansas University. Both Brown and Gatewood played in all 30 games for the Lady Leopards this season. When asked why they chose Southern Arkansas both ladies mentioned when they visited the campus it felt like home and the coaches and team felt like family.
Brown was an Honorable Mention All-Conference selection this season for Region V North and averaged 12.4 points per game and 8.1 rebounds per game.
Gatewood was named First Team All-Conference for Region V North and averaged 14.4 points per game and 10 rebounds per game.
