TEMPLE, Texas – Temple College Baseball beat DFW Post Grad 17-0 in Game 1 and 20-0 in Game 2 via run rule, on Tuesday afternoon at Danny Scott Sports Complex. The Leopards ae now 4-1 on the season.
On a windy Saturday afternoon the offense came to play as through a total of eight offensive innings on the day, they put up 37 runs on 32 hits, 10 doubles, 7 triples and 6 home runs.
Andre Jackson led the offense in Game 2 as he picked up his third career triple and his first two home runs of the season, one being his second career grand slam.
Colby Christian, Chris Morrow and Simon Larranaga picked up their first career home runs while Clark Henry picked up his first of the year.
On the mound in Game 1 Hudson Luce picked up his first career win going 4 innings allowing only 3 hits and struck out 7.
Carter Poulson picked up his first win of the season after throwing 4 innings allowing 2 hits and struck out 11.

Temple will play a doubleheader against Concordia University Texas' JV this Monday in Austin, Texas starting at 3pm.

We had a good day at the plate and pitchers did a good job throwing strikes locating pitches well. Hitters hit a lot of balls hard today resulting in multiple extra base hits. The offense had an opportunity to get a lot of AB's today and they did a great job capitalizing on that.
