Following their 3-1 series win over North Central Texas College in Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference play, the Temple College Leopards softball maintained their No. 12 ranking in this week's National Junior College Athletic Association Division I Top 25 poll.

The Leopards (30-11) garnered 154 points from the pollsters in the March 31 rankings.

Region 8 holds the top three spots in the country Florida Southwestern State College, Northwest Florida State College, and Indiana River State College.

The NTJCAC has four teams in the top 18: McLennan Community College at No. 4, Grayson College at No. 5, TC at 12, and Weatherford College at No. 18.

Odessa College, who is also in Region V with MCC, Grayson, TC, and Weatherford, is ranked ninth nationally. Midland College is receiving votes.

Temple has the NTJCAC bye week, and will return to action on April 9 against Cisco College.
