The Temple College Leopards will begin a two-game series with the Navarro College Bulldogs on Tuesday, with a nine-inning game at Perry D. Graham Field at 2 pm.

The teams faced off at the Danny Scott Sports Complex on March 1, with the Leopards emerging with a 10-0, five-inning win. Kade Davis tossed a two-hitter, having struck out four and walked one. Lance Cantrell drove home three runs, and Peanut Brazzle, Ryder Rutledge, and Jackson Todd each drove in two runs.

Temple (14-19) is hitting .268 with 23 homers, 169 runs batted in, on-base percentage of .396, 188 runs scored, 247 hits, 50 doubles, two triples, 162 walks, and 54 stolen bases in 60 attempts.

Kade Davis (.382 BA, .448 OBP, 3 HR, 25 RBI), Andrew Ermis (.337 BA, .525 OBP, 6 HR, 23 RBI, 17 walks, 17 HBP), Lance Cantrell (.327 BA, .437 OBP, 2 HR, 24 RBI, 21 walks), Ryder Rutledge (.326 BA, .456 OBP, 2 HR, 18 RBI, 16 walks), Peanut Brazzle (.244 BA, .367 OBP, HR, 17 RBI, 16 walks), and Jackson Todd (.229 BA, .351 OBP, 2 HR, 17 RBI, 16 walks) are the offensive leaders on the Leopards.

Temple's pitching staff improved by nearly a run in the NCTC series, having allowed just five earned runs in 34 innings. The Leopards' earned run average is 6.50, having allowed 168 earned runs (214 total) on 266 hits in 232 2/3 innings. They have collected 235 strikeouts and walked 153.

Patrick Collopy (5-1, 3.00 ERA, 55 strikeouts, 17 walks), Eric Tenery (4-2, 3.38 ERA, 31 strikeouts, 17 walks), and Tobin Eschief (3-5, 4.63 ERA, 50 strikeouts, 24 walks) have shoulder most of the starts for the Leopards. Temple has a bullpen that has seen considerable action over the first 33 games.

Navarro College (16-16) is hitting .279 with a .399 OBP, have hit 15 homers and driven in 190 runs, 47 doubles, 11 triples, 165 walks, and 70 stolen bases on 79 tries.

Hank Harp (.357 BA, .453 OBP, 2 HR, 21 RBI, 18 walks), Brady Englett (.337 BA, .470 OBP, 5 HR, 26 RBI, 21 walks), Tarris Murray (.311 BA, .375 OBP, HR, 18 RBI), and McCann Libby (.294 BA, .361 OBP, 3 HR, 23 RBI) are amongst the offensive leaders for the Bulldogs.

Navarro's pitching staff ERA is 5.89 with 162 earned runs (211 total) allowed over 247 2/3 innings pitched, allowed 298 hits, struck out 286 and walked 191.

The Bulldogs' has seven pitchers with 25 or more strikeouts, with Tommy Mulkern (3-0, 4.50 ERA, 33 strikeouts, 17 walks), Brayden McCormick (0-1, 3.03 ERA, 29 strikeouts, 25 walks), and Tyler Baack (1-3, 5.06 ERA, 29 strikeouts, 17 walks) leading a deep staff.
