The Temple College baseball looks to get back to winning ways on Saturday as the host the Cisco College Wrangler in a Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference doubleheader at the Danny Scott Sports Complex.

The doubleheader will start at noon with a seven-inning game. Game two will be a nine-inning game 30 minutes following the conclusion of game one.

The Leopards lost a pair of heartbreakers at Cisco on Wednesday: 4-3 in eight innings and 7-5 in seven innings.

Temple (16-21overall, 7-11 NTJCAC) has hit .268 through 37 games, with an on-base percentage of .395 and slugging percentage of .398.

The Leopards have scored 209 runs on 280 hits, 54 doubles, three triples, 25 home runs, 186 runs batted in, 415 total bases, 180 walks, 47 hit by pitches, 12 sacrifice flies, 13 sacrifice hits, and 58 stolen bases on 66 attempts.

Kade Davis (.368 BA, .431 OBP, 3 HR, 27 RBI), Lance Cantrell (.331 BA, .447 OBP, 2 HR, 24 RBI, 24 walks), and Andrew Ermis (.320 BA, .507 OBP, 7 HR, 26 RBI) are amongst the offensive leaders for the Leopards.

TC's pitching staff has an earned run average of 6.16, with four complete games, four shutouts, and five saves. The Leopards have allowed 181 earned runs (232 total runs) on 294 hits, have walked 167 batters, hit 42 batters, and struck out 260 in 264 1/3 innings.

Patrick Collopy (5-1, 2.80 ERA, 64 strikeouts, 18 walks), Eric Tenery (4-3, 4.53 ERA, 38 strikeouts, 26 walks), Tobin Eschief (3-5, 4.63 ERA, 50 strikeouts, 24 walks), and Kade Davis (3-4, 8.07 ERA, 23 strikeouts, 23 walks), are amongst the leaders in the starting rotation for the Leopards.

Cisco (27-14 overall, 12-10 NTJCAC) has hit .330 through 41 games with an on-base percentage of .442 and slugging percentage of .524. The Wranglers have scored 325 runs on 386 hits, 76 doubles, 20 triples, 37 homers, 286 runs batted in, 613 total bases, 187 walks, 59 hit by pitches, 14 sacrifice flies, and 43 stolen bases on 53 attempts.

Andy Chapa (.410 BA, .451 OBP, 6 HR, 40 RBI), Preston Freeman (.384 BA, .447 OBP, 3 HR, 35 RBI), Jackson Illingsworth (.352 BA, .489 OBP, 5 HR, 29 RBI), Savion Flowers (.345 BA, .444 OBP, 4 HR, 29 RBI), Ryan Alaniz (.341 BA, .537 OBP, 17 RBI, 31 walks) are amongst the offensive leaders for the Wranglers.
