The Temple College softball team defeated Galveston College 14-4 to open day two of the San Jac tournament. Savanna Parker led the Leopard offense with three hits, a double, a triple, one run scored, and seven RBIs. Alyssa Escamilla also added three hits, with a double, one RBI, three runs scored, and a stolen base. Taylor Gruell threw all seven innings giving up eight hits while striking out nine.

In game two the Leopards defeated Blinn College 7-5. The Leopards jumped out to an early lead in the top of the first when Morgan Doucet hit a grand slam over the centerfield fence to put the Leopards up 4-0. Blinn answered back with three in the bottom of the first and then took the lead in the bottom of the second. TC answered back in the third and extended the lead in the top of the sixth and held on for the win. Daisy Gonzalez went 3 for 3 with two doubles, a walk, and a run scored. Breanna Hernandez threw all seven innings for the win.

The Leopards are now 10-3 and will play a doubleheader at Blinn College in Brenham on Wednesday February 13 with game one starting at 2:00 p.m.
