Temple College softball swept Hill College, both games being 5-inning run-rules, to close out round one of conference play.

Alyssa Escamilla paced the Leopard offense in the 12-4 run rule over Hill College. Escamilla went 4 for 4 with two triples, 3 RBI, 3 runs scored and a stolen base. Maddie Weatherly homerd and drove in 3 runs. Breanna Hernandez threw four innings for the win and Taylor Gruell closed the final inning.

In game two the Leopards banged out 10 hits in just four innings of work for a 9-0 run rule in five innings. Escamilla and Weatherly both went 2 for 4 in game two. Marley Hilton threw four innings and allowed just one hit to get the win and Ivelisse Moreno closed the final inning.

The Leopards are now 14-2 in conference and 30-6 overall. They will be back in action on the road at North Central Texas College April 3 to start round two of conference.
