Following their Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference bye week, the Temple College Leopards softball maintained their No. 12 ranking in this week's National Junior College Athletic Association Division I Top 25 poll.

The Leopards (30-11) garnered 154 points from the pollsters in the April 7 rankings.

Region 8 holds the top three spots in the country Florida Southwestern State College, Northwest Florida State College, and Indiana River State College.

The NTJCAC has four teams in the top 18: McLennan Community College (38-5) at No. 4, Grayson College (37-5) at No. 6, TC at 12, and Weatherford College (27-9) at No. 18.

Odessa College (27-4), who is also in Region V with MCC, Grayson, TC, and Weatherford, is ranked ninth nationally. Midland College is receiving votes.

Temple returns to action on Wednesday against Cisco College.
