Following a four-game sweep over Ranger College, Temple College Softball placed 11th in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association DI Softball Poll.
The Leopards (39-14) collected 165 points in the poll rankings.
Region V Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference (NTJCAC) leader McLennan Community College (48-5) retained the top spot in the poll with 13 first-place votes. Florida Southwestern State College (47-5) is No. 2, Northwest Florida State College (52-2) is No. 3 and Indian River State College (41-8), and, all out of Region 8.
Grayson College (48-6) stayed at No. 5. Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC) Odessa College (39-4) is No. 7, and NTJCAC's Weatherford College (33-13) rounded out the Region V representation at No. 20.
The Leopards will play in the Region V Crossover Tournament as the NTJCAC third seed against the WJCAC second seed at 2:30 pm on May 7.
