LANCASTER, Texas – The Temple College Volleyball team swept Cedar Valley Suns Tuesday night. This victory carries the Leopards record to 7-10 and the Suns fell to 0-10.
The Leopards recorded 87 digs on the match including 14 from our Leopard of the Match Brooklyn Shook. As a team, the Leopards hit over .200 hitting efficacy; with 3 players recording 5 or more kills (Xaria Pickett, Kiyah Felder, Hailey Harris, and Sabrina Tuerck). Xaria Pickett (13K & 12D) and Justice Isom (26A & 14D) recorded Double Doubles. Other notable stats leaders included Jade Smith (21 digs) and Hailey Harris (4 Blocks).
The Leopards will be hosting Mountain View Wednesday and open conference with a home match against North Central Texas College on September 16th. The Leopards are also asking everyone to donate towards the Hurricane Ida relief. All proceeds will go to participants of Nola Elite Volleyball Club in New Orleans, Louisiana.
