TEMPLE, Texas – In a conference win at home, the Temple College Leopards defeated the Southwestern Christian College Rams within 3 sets (25-6, 25-10,25-6). This victory over the Rams takes the Leopards record to 10-11, while to Rams record fall to 1-5.
Receiving Leopard of the Match Jade Smith ran the defensive court by leading in digs (14), helping out with 3 assists, and tough serving with 2 aces on 19 attempts. Xaria Pickett recorded a hitting efficiency of .364 on her 10 kills in the match. Defending the net, Hailey Harris logged 5 blocks. Regan Riggins also raked in 15 assists.
The Leopards will hit the road again Saturday in a Tri-Match against Coastal Bend College and Our Lady of the Lake.
