TEMPLE, Texas - Jade Smith named NJCAA Region V NTJCAC Player of the Week
In an outstanding week of play, Jade Smith was rewarded NJCAA Region V NTJCAC Player of the Week. Smith is currently ranked 22nd in the nation as she is averaging 5.05 digs per set. The sophomore transfer has been a key part of the Leopard defense while receiving Leopard of Match for last week's victory over conference opponent Vernon College. In the 15 sets played last week, Smith recorded 82 digs, 8 assists, and averaged a 2.36 passing rating. Congratulations to Jade Smith!
