Hillsboro, Texas – Wrapping up week 3 of conference play, the Leopards secured a 3-0 victory over the Hill College Rebels (25-20, 25-23, 25-23). Wtih this victory, the Leopards record improve to 13-12 and 4-1 in conference placing them second in conference.
Jade Smith, Leopard of the Match, logged 16 digs and a serve receive passing rating of .238 which facilitated to the Leopards victory. Receiving her first kill leader of season, Skylar Nappier recorded 10 kills on .348 hitting efficacy. Our unstoppable lefty, Halle Mitchell, recorded a career high hitting efficacy of .538. Other notable stats included Justice Isom (13-assist leader), Hailey Harris (5-blocks), Kiyah Felder (.62- hitting efficacy).
They will return to conference play Tuesday, October 5th at home against Ranger College. They will also be hosting Dallas College – Cedar Valley on Saturday, October 9th.
