Gainesville, Texas – Tough fight to start the second half of conference, however the Leopards fell short against the 18-4 North Central Texas College Lions in 3 sets (23-25, 19-25, 23-25). With this defeat the Leopards fall to 15-13 placing them tied for second in the conference standings.
Xaria Pickett, Leopard of the Match, raked in 10 kills and 5 digs in last night's battle. Assisting her fellow outside hitter, Skylar Nappier logged 9 kills. Jade Smith collected 27 digs on the match forcing the Lions to compete harder. Other stats leaders include Justice Isom (17 assists) and Hailey Harris (5 blocks.)
They will be hosting a pink out match on Thursday, October 14th against conference opponent Vernon College.
