Rachel Melancon, Head Coach Temple College Leopards Volleyball
"It was good to see the girls start to apply the skills and tactic I've been implementing in practice into this match. I came in and made a lot of changes that altered the way the ladies think about the strategy of play during matches. When it all comes together, it's going to be an amazing site to see. They have the potential to make a name for Temple College Volleyball this season."

The team has been working hard on discipline, bettering the ball, and communicating the little things during the play. Their work paid off tonight with a 4-set win against an athletic team that pushed the Leopards mental strength to the limit.

Xaria Pickett, Leopard of the Match
"We brought our words to life this game, and really focused on everything we have been working for, it's starting to come together. It's still only the beginning, so I expect to see some major changes for the better in our game play with the coming preseason games. Everyone played their role today, we couldn't have kept out energy high and stayed level without our leps on the sideline and coaching staff."

We are finding our chemistry more and more every day, and it's starting to show on the court.
